The cloaked figure jumps out of his robe and reveals himself. Turns out to be Kai and Kalen.

Kai: Dad told us to stay to watch the horse while he went to fight, but we can’t sit on our butts when Momma and Shae are somewhere out there!
Kalen: Yeah! Out here in the dark. They have to be scared!

Kai: Don’t worry, we’ve been training with Dad, Nimrod, Moon Called and Artix.
